The Third Africa Rice Congress brings together representatives
from the public and private sector, civil society organizations,
farmer associations and research and extension communities
engaged in the development of Africa’s rice sector. This unique

The Board of Trustees of the Africa Rice Center(AfricaRice) has appointed former Board member and Vice-Chair Dr Adama Traoré as Interim Director General with effect from 12 September 2013.
